Tara, Lane Cove

Tara is a five-storey residential development located at 640-646 Mowbray Road, Lane Cove, and the ninth project by Hyecorp in the area. Architecturally designed to blend boutique and modern living, Tara includes smart home automation and a rooftop entertainment area offering views of Sydney’s CBD skyline.

Holmes provided fire engineering performance solutions that addressed non-compliant fire safety aspects of the building. Key areas of the design Holmes analysed included extended travel distances, egress from fire-isolated stairs, fire resistance levels of a fire-rated curtain in the carpark area, sprinkler design and smoke exhaust.

Our fire engineering solutions not only ensured compliance with safety regulations but also enabled design flexibility and overall safety, adding significant value to the project.
