Applications for 2024 Graduate Engineering roles are now live!
Looking to join Holmes here in Aotearoa New Zealand as a Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineer? We are now accepting applications for Graduate Engineers, apply here.
Our Graduate Programme is all about getting talented Graduates to learn from our expert engineers on exciting, high-profile projects from day one. It’s a vibrant and exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills amongst Aotearoa New Zealand’s best engineers. We have even created an in-house technical training programme just for our Graduates, called Holmes University, which you’ll attend fortnightly.
There’s plenty to get involved in across our offices at Holmes—we’ve got touch rugby, indoor netball, mountain biking, yoga, bootcamp, running groups, indoor soccer, tramping clubs, and more! Or perhaps weekly pizza and beers is more your thing. At Holmes you’ll find a supportive work environment that truly believes in work / life balance.
We have graduate roles available in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), and Ōtautahi (Christchurch) offices. If you’re open to working at any of these locations, just let us know the places you’d like to work (in order from your most desired to least desired location).
Applications close on Sunday, 30 April 2023, but our team review all applications as they arrive—so we recommend you apply as soon as possible.
Our Summer Internship applications for engineers will open on Monday 03 April 2023. Our Summer Internship programme is designed to give you the “real world” experience of what it’s like to be an engineer working in a consultancy. You’ll never be sitting around twiddling your thumbs. You can expect to be attending site visits, client meetings, doing calc packages on exciting new builds or heritage strengthening, and much, much more!
